Safe and reliable technology to process pesticide wastewater.
In Japan, water quality standards are established by the Water Pollution Control Act and the Basic Environment Law. From the north of Japan(Hokkaido ) to the south of it (Kagoshima), it has been selected for treatment of pesticide wastewater mainly from raising seedling facilities and seed center at more than 150 agricultural facilities throughout the country. By adopting activated carbon and precision filtration filter, we thoroughly filter the wastewater containing the pesticide and purify it to a safe level even if discharged into the environment.

At a processing plant in Ishikawa prefecture, waxy rice plant decided to newly add production facilities, but it was unresolved how to handle rice wasing wastewater. In response to this request, Meiwa Co., Ltd. devised a system that simplifies wastewater treatment equipment and economically coagulates and precipitates rice washing wastewater. It is used to clear environmental standard values against COD (chemical oxygen demand), BOD (biological oxygen demand) and SS (suspended matter).
