A lot of dust is generated inside co-drying facilities of rice and machine factories involving crushing during operation of the equipment. Meiwa Co., Ltd has established a highly efficient treatment system by means of blowing water at high speed against these dusts in the air. In some co-drying facility in Tohoku, since the water freezes in the winter season, it was impossible to introduce a wet type dust collector based on the use of water. Meiwa devised a dry dust collector that does not use water for the operation. In addition to becoming a model suitable for cold climates, it became a promising product chosen by customers who want to make exhaust more clean even outside cold areas.
